Second Language Acquisition

Pursue effective methods of learning foreign language.

I went to New York for the first time when I was 21 years old. My Englsh examinaions had been successful, but may English were useless in NY. "How can we aquire pratical skill of English?" I got interested more in foreign languages when I studied in France and I stayed in U.S. I've been thinking about effective methods of learning freign language.
